Absolutely perfect location unique in style as a converted factory, and the rooms were impeccable and lovely. I thoroughly enjoyed the good food. Location: the hotel was next to Georgetown-one of the coolest neighborhoods in DC, the coolest neighborhoods, and outstanding restaurants. The staff were very amiable and took care of me.

This hotel is fabulous and fairly clean with a magnificent location, unique in style as a converted factory. The people here are excellent and attentive, welcoming you in with warmth. The room is big and has a spacious bathroom. Overall, the food is outstanding, and there is Farmers Fishers Bakers close by.

Perfect location in Washington, near AMC theaters, top-rated restaurants, the Kennedy Center, and the trendy Georgetown neighborhood. Unique converted factory style. Impeccable room with a lovely, spacious bathroom.

The bed was incredibly comfortable, and the suite was well-kept. The staff, especially the evening and day managers, as well as Ashley in the lobby, went above and beyond to make up for a bad check-in experience. The service was superb, from the champagne greeting at check-in to the complimentary car and driver for a party across town. The hotel's location in the Washington DC area is fantastic, within walking distance of many shops and restaurants, and close to the river.
Nothing to fault.

Great location. Should have been nice. Rooms very tired and dated. Living room/lobby looked appealing but virtually non-exsistent service. Worse yet the food. We ate in lobby area - no one in restaurant. Better values at other hotels. This needs an overhaul. Sorry I usually don’t even write reviews but when you asked - you should hear the truth.

The hotel staff were excellent - extremely accommodating to all our needs. The room and bathroom were spotlessly clean. All the shops in the Georgetown area were within walking distance, making it convenient for us. The lobby with the fireplace was a great place to relax and enjoy a drink or quick bite. a fantastic stay!
Felt like part of the family, nothing to complain about.

The hotel was fairly clean and stunningly beautiful, loved it. The atmosphere created was quiet. We were in the deluxe queen room with central heating, pay television, and a laptop-compatible safe. The service was attentive, the food was outstanding. Have stayed here many times and would love to go back.

The value for money was excellent and the room was clean and comfortable. The location was perfect, with all the shops in Georgetown within walking distance and the waterfront just a quick walk away. The staff at The Ritz-Carlton were extremely accommodating and friendly, creating a welcoming atmosphere throughout our stay.
The only breakfast option that could be improved was the coffee.

I arrived late in the evening and they gave me the most incredible, huge, presidential-style suite, with 5 rooms - maybe 1500 sq feet? I could not believe it. Probably sold out all the other cheaper rooms, but it was definitely the best room I've ever had. Unfortunately I only stayed for less than 12 hours, so didn't get to use it as much as I would have liked. Another thing I appreciated was that I got sick and couldn't make my first night reservation and had to cancel within the allotted 24 hr timeframe. But the Ritz Carlton did not charge me for that first night. They waived it. That was very helpful. Their service is 5 star.
The only downside to this hotel is that I do not believe it is handicapped friendly. You cannot get from the lobby area to your room without going down stairs. Of course there are porters to carry your luggage, but I wonder if they have some way for people in wheelchairs to get to their rooms?

The service was impeccable - from the check-in greeting with champagne to the complimentary car and driver for transportation. The staff was friendly and accommodating, and the location was perfect, with plenty of dining options within walking distance. The room was clean and the beds were comfortable, ensuring a pleasant stay.
Nothing could have been better.

As young people, we loved the convenient location of the hotel. It was within walking distance to all the shops in Georgetown and a quick walk to the water. Exploring and discovering new restaurants and stores was a breeze for us. The lobby with the fireplace was a cool hangout spot at the end of the day, perfect for enjoying a drink and a quick bite.
We felt very welcome during our stay and had no complaints whatsoever.
